Muhlenberg Schedules August COVID-19 Testing and Vaccinations

The highly contagious Delta variant of the coronavirus is forcing communities across Kentucky, and the U.S., to step up safety precautions once again.

Muhlenburg County is offering COVID-19 testing and vaccination clinics this week and throughout the month. 

The brief sense of relief that crossed Kentucky with easy access to COVID-19 vaccinations and the dropping of mask requirements is over.

Tension and worry are back, as the Delta variant of the virus is causing a spike in cases, especially among the unvaccinated.

The Muhlenburg County Health Departmentis offering COVID-19 testing every Tuesday in August, by appointment only. 

The county health department is offering the Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccine every Wednesday in August from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Moderna vaccine will be offered every Thursday in August from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The walk-in clinics for the vaccinations will be at the Muhlenburg County Health Department in Central City.

You do not have to be a resident of Muhlenburg County for the testing or vaccinations.
