Muhlenberg Schedules August COVID-19 Testing and Vaccinations

Muhlenberg County Health Department
/

The highly contagious Delta variant of the coronavirus is forcing communities across Kentucky, and the U.S., to step up safety precautions once again.

Muhlenburg County is offering COVID-19 testing and vaccination clinics this week and throughout the month.

The brief sense of relief that crossed Kentucky with easy access to COVID-19 vaccinations and the dropping of mask requirements is over.

Tension and worry are back, as the Delta variant of the virus is causing a spike in cases, especially among the unvaccinated.

The Muhlenburg County Health Department is offering COVID-19 testing every Tuesday in August, by appointment only.

The county health department is offering the Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccine every Wednesday in August from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Moderna vaccine will be offered every Thursday in August from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The walk-in clinics for the vaccinations will be at the Muhlenburg County Health Department in Central City.

You do not have to be a resident of Muhlenburg County for the testing or vaccinations.
