Prior to joining WKU Public Radio, she most recently worked at WHAS in Louisville and WLAC in Nashville. She has received numerous awards from the Associated Press, including Best Reporter in Kentucky. Many of her stories have been heard on NPR.

Students and staff walked out of class on Wednesday in Nelson County, protesting a controversial decision by the school board.The demonstration followed after a vote Tuesday night by the Nelson County School Board to continue with a plan to merge the county’s two high schools.
