Kentucky’s Judicial Conduct Commission has suspended a circuit judge in Adair and Casey counties. An investigation found Judge Judy Vance Murphy abused her position to influence cases and committed other misconduct.

The state Judicial Conduct Commission Friday ordered a western Kentucky judge facing multiple misconduct charges be removed from office and barred serving the next term in office.

A far western Kentucky circuit court judge temporarily suspended in August on misconduct charges was hit Tuesday with a pair of additional charges.
