More Than 100,000 COVID-19 Complaints Received by Kentucky Hotline and Web Portal

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Kentucky has a website and hotline where anyone can report complaints about businesses, organizations or community gatherings that are not in compliance with state guidelines to limit the spread of COVID-19.

So far, more than 100,000 complaints have been filed through KYSAFER.

The Kentucky Labor Cabinet complaint forms can include observations about non-compliance with state directives on work-from-home instructions, social distancing or other guidance related to the pandemic.

The information on the person filing the complaint is used only if more details on the non-compliance are needed. The complaints can be made through a web portal or hotline.

From March 23--Nov. 23 more than 100,000 complaints have been filed. Of the total, nearly 35,000 complaints have come into the hotline. And more than 66,000 have been filed through the web portal. The web portal and the hotline number can be found online at KYSAFER.

Kentucky restrictions and guidelines for work, school and safety precautions can be found online at KYCOVID-19.

The statewidemask mandate covers all indoor and outdoor spaces when a person is unable to maintain social distancing of six feet from anyone not a member of their household.
