The shooting early Sunday morning outside the Lava Lounge in Bowling Green happened just hours after the team played their annual spring scrimmage game. The Lava Lounge is just off the WKU campus. Bowling Green police say it appears someone shot into a crowd outside the bar and struck the players. An officer driving by the scene reportedly heard gunshots and called for backup at 12:39 a.m.
