Bowling Green, Ky – Kentucky's senior US Senator says Republicans will inspect Elena Kagan's record with an open mind. President Obama on Monday announced he was nominating Kagan--the current US Solicitor General--for a seat on the Supreme Court. If their is any major opposition to Kagan's nomination, it will likely be lead by McConnell. Kevin Willis has more.
