LRS Live Replay: Nikki Lane, Howlin' Brothers & Leslie Weiler Meng

The season finale of Lost River Sessions LIVE featured Nikki Lane, a Nashville singer-songwriter who blends country, rock and blues. Mike LoPinto played alongside Lane on guitar and she was also joined for part of her set by The Howlin' Brothers and Leslie Weiler Meng.

With Bowling Green being so close to Nashville, Lane says she enjoyed the relatively short drive for the show. Before the concert, she recounted her band's early days of touring. "Things were pretty rough as far in terms of the hotels we got to sleep in," Lane said. "Now we're like middle level. We're staying in nicer hotels and spending more money on a nicer rig. But we're still waiting on that bus...that bus life where you don't know you're traveling."

The Howlin' Brothers and Meng also played songs of their own to kick off the show, which took place the Capitol Arts Center in Bowling Green on May 11. The Howlin' Brothers were guests on the second ever Lost River Sesssions LIVE in November of 2016.
