The prosecution has rested its case on day three of the Steve Lawson trial in Bowling Green. Lawson is charged in connection with the presumed death of Crystal Rogers, the Bardstown mother of five who disappeared in 2015.

The prosecution continued to call witnesses Wednesday in the trial of Steve Lawson. He’s before a jury in Bowling Green, facing charges related to the disappearance and presumed death of young Bardstown mother Crystal Rogers in 2015.

The murder trial for missing Bardstown mother, Crystal Rogers, is headed to southern Kentucky. A Nelson County judge ruled Monday that the trial of Brooks Houck and two co-defendants will be held in Warren County.

The Kentucky Supreme Court has denied a reduction in bond for Brooks Houck, the ex-boyfriend of a Bardstown woman missing since 2015. The decision will keep him in jail until he goes on trial Feb. 10, 2025, on charges related to the death of Crystal Rogers.
