The WKU men’s basketball team will open its first season as a member of Conference USA with 18 league games, as well as home contests against Louisville and Belmont.
The Hilltoppers start the season at E.A. Diddle Arena Nov. 14 against Austin Peay, and will play home-and-home series against Conference USA opponents Marshall, Charlotte, Old Dominion, Florida Atlantic, and Florida International.
The rest of WKU’s first-ever Conference USA league schedule features home games against Texas-El Paso, Texas-San Antonio, North Texas, and Rice. The Hilltoppers will go on the road to take on Louisiana Tech, Southern Miss, Alabama-Birmingham, and Middle Tennessee.

WKU hosts Belmont Nov. 22, and the Louisville Cardinals Dec. 20.
The Hilltoppers return seniors T.J Price and George Fant for the 2014-15 season. Price, a 6’4’’ inch guard, averaged over 15 points and four rebounds a game last season. Fant, a 6’6’’ inch forward from Warren Central High School, scored over 13 points per game last season.
Other key returnees include sophomore guard Chris Harrison-Docks, junior forward Nigel Snipes, and senior guard Trencey Jackson. The team will also feature four true freshmen, including two Kentucky natives. Check out the entire roster here.
WKU finished last season with a 20-12 overall record and 12-6 mark in Sun Belt Conference play.
Other highlights of the 2014-15 season include a December 6 game at in-state rival Murray State, and a contest at Ole Miss on December 13.
