Murder Arrest Made in Disappearance of Jamestown Woman

A south-central Kentucky man has been charged with murder in the death of a 31-year-old woman who went missing after going for a run with her sister.

Kentucky State Police say 28-year-old Christopher Allman of Jamestown was arrested Thursday in the death of Sarah Hart, who is also from Jamestown.

Allman was also charged with robbery, kidnapping, and tampering with physical evidence.  He was taken to the Russell County Jail.

State police say Hart was reported missing Thursday morning after dropping out of a run along U.S. 127 with her sister, saying she wasn't feeling well.

Police say the sister continued running, then returned to check on Hart, but couldn't find her.

Hart's body was found just off the highway in a field.  The cause of the death hasn't been released.
