Tornadoes Hit Kentucky

Elizabethtown, KY – Springlike storms that rumbled across Kentucky Monday afternoon spawned several tornadoes that caused damage in Adair, Hardin and Lincoln Counties.
Funnel clouds were also seen in other parts of the state, but no injuries were reported.
In Hardin County, the storm leveled a food store, damaged residences and downed power lines. Hardin County schools were closed Tuesday.
Lincoln County authorities reported four or five homes destroyed and several damaged in the McKinney area.
There was also storm damage in Pelleton, northeast of Columbia in Adair County.
