Highland Heights, KY – In a surprising move at a convocation today, Northern Kentucky University President James Votruba announced that he will retire as President at the end of the current school year. The 66 year old Votruba says he has appreciated his fourteen years as NKU President, but indicated he plans to return to teaching educational leadership at the institution.
