Republicans are working to reschedule their convention events and speeches after canceling the first day of the massive rally in Tampa, FL. Party leaders decided the threat of Tropical Storm Isaac was too great to continue with Monday's opening day of the convention.
Scheduled to speak Monday were Kentucky U.S. Senator Rand Paul and Andy Barr, the GOP candidate in Kentucky's sixth district U.S. House race.
Media reports over the weekend said party leaders are trying to find ways to fit Monday's speeches into the remaining three days of the convention, Tuesday through Thursday.
