Warren County Commonwealth’s Attorney Chris Cohron has been named one of two Outstanding Prosecutors of the Year. Cohron accepted the honor Thursday at the annual Kentucky Prosecutors Conference in Lexington.
“Chris always goes above and beyond the call of duty as a Commonwealth’s Attorney, and he exemplifies the true meaning of a public servant," Attorney General Jack Conway said in a written statement.
Cohron was elected Commonwealth’s Attorney for Warren County in 2004.
The other 2014 Outstanding Commonwealth's Attorney award went to Edison Banks of Letcher County.
