Franklin, Ky – In Simpson County, business leaders and residents are wondering if federal help could come for the construction of an electric car plant. The project--which has been plagued with problems--is under new management which has applied for a $200 million loan from the US Department of Energy. WKU Public Radio's Lisa Autry visited Franklin to learn the latest on the electric car effort.
