Bowling Green Settles With Catron

By AP

Bowling Green, KY – The city of Bowling Green is going to be getting a settlement from suspended lawyer Steve Catron and three of his former law firms.
They've agreed to pay Bowling Green $260,000 to settle allegations that he over-charged or mis-spent almost $550,000 on the city's convention center.
Commissioner Jim Bullington says the city settled because it faced estimated legal fees of $500,000 to take the case to trial. It had already spent more than $100,000 on lawyers.
