More Flu Vaccine On The Way

By AP

Frankfort, KY – Governor Fletcher has announced that Kentucky will receive an estimated 97,000 additional doses of flu vaccine.
It comes from the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention's national re-allocation effort.
The Governor says that in addition to the 97,000 doses, local health departments are currently being shipped the remainder of their original vaccine order.
Fletcher says the vaccine will be used to help address local shortages at health departments, nursing homes, hospitals and private providers.
