A legislative panel consisting of House and Senate lawmakers heard the first installment of a report looking at the state's Commonwealth Accountability Testing System, or CATS>
Lawmakers were expecting to review more of the report next month. The state board of education has been considering changes to the annual state-wide assessment tests administered to kentucky students.
It's been developing a request for proposal to gather bids from prospective testing companies that would develop the changes.
