Rural Development Funds Heading To Columbia

Washington, D.C. – Columbia, Kentucky will receive nearly one million dollars in rural development funds from the USDA. The office of U.S. Senator Jim Bunning says the funds will be used to replace approximately four miles of waterlines and to install 45 new fire hydrants.

The funding includes a $495,000 Rural Development Grant and a $495,000 Rural Development Loan.
