The group Very Special Arts Kentucky is changing its name.
The statewide non-profit arts organization will now be known as Arts for All Kentucky. Delaire Rowe is executive director of the Bowling Green-based organization.
"We were often asked in the past, what does VSA stand for, and when we were explaining that to people we would say it’s arts for all, arts for individuals with disabilities, children, youth, and adults. So we just decided that that portion of our explanation--arts for all-- would become our new name and it better describes what it is we do.”
Arts for All Kentucky offers participation, mentoring opportunities, and community arts programming throughout the state. You can hear our full interview with Delaire Rowe below.
