Munfordville, KY – Wine could be sold in the Pikeview precinct of Hart County if voters give their approval in a special vote September 14th.
A petition containing the names of 131 registered voters from the precinct has been presented to the county clerk requesting the vote on limited alcohol sales.
An absentee voting machine is to be operational at the Hart County courthouse August 27th to record the vote.

Franklin, KY – Kentucky state police and the Simpson County sheriff's department are investigating what they're calling a "suspicious death" in Simpson County.
The body of 30 year old Jonathan Winthrow of Bowling Green was found early Monday morning on Tuck Road on the outskirts of Franklin.
Winthrow's identity was confirmed by family members after they heard media reports of the discovery.
No other information is available but state police are continuing their investigation.
