Bowling Green Boy's Bag Drive Helps Foster Chiildren

Noah Jones drops off donated bags at the Department for Protection and Permanency in Bowling Green.

Bowling Green – Every day in Kentucky, children are removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. After witnessing some children pack their belongings in trash bags, 11 year old Noah Jones is leading an effort to provide them with luggage. Lisa Autry has more on the project "A Case for Dignity."

Kentucky League of Cities Hires New Executive Director

Bowling Green, KY – Officials with the Kentucky League of Cities are hoping to put spending problems in the past, as they announce the name of a new Executive Director. Jonathan Steiner comes to the position from New Hampshire, where he worked as Deputy Director for Member Services for that state's Local Government Center. Trial of woman suing WKU for wrongful termination enters last day of testimony

Bowling Green, Ky – Dr. Julian Zhang is suing WKU, saying she was fired when her supervisor learned she was pregnant. But several witnesses have disputed the claim, saying Zhang was let go because of a poor work performance. Closing arguments are expected Thursday, September 30th. Kevin Willis has this update.
