Bowling Green – The Kentucky Department for Public Health is urging residents of the state to get vaccinated against pertussis, more commonly known as whooping cough. State epidemiologist Dr. Kraig Humbaugh says more than 250 cases have been reported across the state this year. He says adults and children should consider booster shots.
Bowling Green – Two companies and an individual from Kentucky are taking legal action against cattle brokerage business based in New Albany, Indiana. An involuntary bankruptcy motion has been filed against Eastern Livestock. Lisa Autry has more in this report.
Washington – Kentucky's fifth district congressman could lead the House Appropriations Committee as Republicans assume control of the U-S House in January. Hal Rogers of Somerset will find out Tuesday if he's been chosen chairman of the appropriations committee. Lisa Autry reports.
