Cancer Survivor Documents His Story

Bowling Green, KY – Pulitzer prize winning photojournalist John Kaplan says he wants more cancer patients and their families to understand that many types of cancer can be treated successfully. That's why he photographed and documented his own fight against a potentially-deadly form of lymphoma. That story is the subject of a public TV documentary that will be airing soon. Kentucky Court of Appeals to Hear Arguments in Cave City Case

Bowling Green, KY – The Kentucky Court of Appeals will hear arguments on September 6th in the Cave City Election appeal case. The Court will convene in Frankfort to hear challenges to a Barren County Circuit Court ruling that declared null and void the results of the 2010 Cave City Mayoral election. Barren County Judge Phillip Patton presided in that case. Tuesday's court proceedings in Frankfort are scheduled to start at nine a.m.

High Temperatures Prompt Change in Start Times for Football Games Tonight in Jefferson County

Louisville, KY – As high temperatures continue across Kentucky, Jefferson County Public Schools have decided to delay the start of high school football games scheduled for tonight. School System Athletics Director Jerry Wyman says game times have been bumped to 8PM Eastern time tonight. Wyman says that change follows a meeting today with most school athletics directors in the system. Highs in Louisville are expected to reach 99 degrees.
