Botanical Gardens in Owensboro Planting "Elvis" Tree

A pin oak tree is being planted at the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden in memory of Elvis Presley on the 35th anniversary of his death. The tree was donated by Nancy Brown, who told the Messenger-Inquirer  she picked up a handful of acorns on one of her many visits to Graceland.

Daviess County Leaders Give the Go-Ahead for Further Coal Mining
