A stingy WKU defense held Brescia (Ky.) without a field goal for 13:16 at one point Saturday night at E.A. Diddle Arena, helping the Hilltoppers improve to 4-2 on the season with a 74-46 win over the Bearcats. WKU limited Brescia to just 11 field goals in the game and only four inside the three-point line.

WKU and Western Carolina meet Saturday night at 7:30 PM at E.A. Diddle Arena in the second and final game of the mainland portion of the 2012 Cancun Challenge. WKU defeated Austin Peay in the first game of the Cancun Challenge Tuesday night, and Western Carolina lost at Wichita State Thursday night.
