Conservative Kentucky Group Launching PAC

A new conservative think tank in Kentucky is expanding its political influence outside of its usual lobbying efforts. The Commonwealth Policy Center is a fiscally and socially conservative group. Now, the group has launched a sister political action committee, the Commonwealth Policy PAC, to influence elections.

Counties Along Green River, Lake Cumberland Especially Hard Hit by Drought

What a difference a year makes. Last year was the wettest on record across Kentucky going back to 1895. Many areas of the commonwealth that experienced widespread flooding last year are now in drought.

The Henderson Police Department tells WKU Public Radio they are preparing to release a statement regarding the murder investigation of Michelle Cotter, the Henderson County schools dance instructor shot to death early Tuesday morning.

Slain Guidance Counselor/Dance Coach Remembered as Role Model for Youth

A candlelight vigil was held Tuesday night at Henderson County High School in honor of Michelle Cotter. She was found shot in her Henderson home early Tuesday morning and later died at Methodist Hospital. Her husband, Steven Cotter, was found inside the home with a gun and was taken into custody.
