KY Sec. Of State: "We're Ready For Election"

Frankfort, KY – There are 3,550 precincts in Kentucky, with 2,800 polling locations. On Election Day, almost 15,000 poll workers will staff them. Secretary of State Trey Grayson is expecting long lines.

"If you're in line at 6:00 p.m., you can vote no matter how long that takes. We have seen in the past couple of years, those lines have been an hour to an hour-and-a-half, to two hours long, with that many people standing in line at 6:00 p.m.," Grayson said.
