Deadline Approaches for Kentucky Write-in Candidates

Anyone wanting to file as a write-in candidate for the November 6th election in Kentucky must do so by Friday of this week. Under Kentucky law, write-in candidates for any office are required to file a Declaration of Intent to be a Write-in Candidate, and they must pay a filing fee prescribed by statute. Write-in candidates for President and Vice-President must also file a list of presidential electors pledged to the candidates.
