A woman from Jefferson County is facing up to 160 years in prison after pleading guilty to defrauding the Little Sisters of the Poor. 53 year old Mary Montfort stole more than $364,000 from the charity, and has admitted in court that she fraudulently issued checks payable to herself and forged the signatures of authorized employees.
