Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear has appointed Bowling Green investment officer John Ridley to the WKU Board of Regents. He replaces James Meyer, whose term expired.
Ridley's term runs through June 30, 2018.
Ridley is managing director for Wells Fargo Advisors in Bowling Green.
The governor also appointed Carolyn Ridley of Bowling Green to the Governor's Council on Postsecondary Education. Ridley is vice president for regulatory affairs for twtelecom in Bowling Green.
Dr. Joseph Prather II of Elizabethtown was appointed to the University of Louisville Board of Regents. Dr. Prather is a physician and chief medical officer for Baptist Healthcare System.
