A published report says WKU athletic director Todd Stewart has met with the football team’s offensive coordinator in case current head coach Bobby Petrino leaves the school.
USA Today says it received the information from an anonymous source.
The report says Stewart met with offensive coordinator Jeff Brohm Tuesday, the same day Petrino interviewed for the head coaching job at the University of Louisville.
Petrino went 8-and-4 in his first season at WKU and coached at U of L from 2003-to-2006.
Phone calls and an email sent by WKU Public Radio to the WKU office of Athletics Media Relations have gone unanswered.
