Bowling Green, Ky – Education is expected to be a main focus of the next Kentucky General Assembly session in Frankfort. Last year, lawmakers voted to end the annual assessment regime known as the Commonwealth Accountability Testing System--or "CATS." Lawmakers and educators are now trying to hammer out a new testing strategy. To get a preview, we spoke to Brad Hughes, with the Kentucky School Boards Association.
