Four from Pulaski County Killed in Sunday Plane Crash

Four people from Pulaski County are dead following a plane crash Sunday afternoon near Glasgow.

Kentucky State Police say those killed in the crash were:

*Kyle P. Stewart, 41, of Somerset

*Quinton D. Whitaker, 40,  of Somerset

*Scott T. Foster, 41, and his son, Noah Foster, 15, both from Science Hill

The four died when the small plane they were in crashed in the Fountain Run community of Barren County.

KSP Post 3 spokesman Trooper Jeremy Hodges says three of the victims were pronounced deadat the scene, while the fourth person was pronounced dead at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.

Hodges says the plane went through multiple tree tops before striking a larger tree, leaving a debris field about 200 to 250 feet long.

State Police and the Federal Aviation Administration are now conducting a joint investigation into the cause of the crash.
