Frankfort, KY – This year's Kentucky Derby may attract governors from around the country.
The Republican Governors' Association has planned a series of events surrounding the Derby festivities in Louisville this week. And the Democratic Governor's Association has a fundraising event scheduled for Friday and Saturday in Louisville.
On the GOP side, Governor Eernie Fletcher is slated to host governors from around the country. And RGA spokesman Ben Jenkins says they're hoping to take in about $200,000 while in Louisville
