Settlement Reached in Anti-Trust Complaint Against Kentucky Real Estate Commission

Washington, D.C. – The Justice Department reports it has reached a settlement
of its anti-trust complaint against the Kentucky Real Estate
Commission. The complaint related to fees for broker
services.

Under the settlement filed in U-S District Court in
Louisville, the Commission would stop prohibiting
rebates and cease any enforcement actions against
brokers for offering rebates or discounts. The court
must approve the settlement.

Remains of Vietnam-Era Soldier Identified

Louisville, KY – The remains of a Kentucky soldier who fought in Vietnam
three decades ago has been found. Specialist
Raymond Bobe will be buried in Russell County this
weekend.

The soldier's father, Henry Bobe, says Raymond and
four other soldiers died March 16th, 1969 when the
U-21 aircraft they were in went down over North Vietnam.
Henry Bobe says he is getting some closure on his
son's death, since the discovery of the remains.
