Join WKU Public Radio For A Free Living Will Event On Saturday

Do you have a living will? A living will is a legal document that indicates the types of medical treatments and life-sustaining measures you want and don't want, such as mechanical breathing (respiration and ventilation), tube feeding or resuscitation.

Adults throughout the area can complete a living will free of charge on Saturday, May 18th.

Severe Threat Diminishing But Storms Still Expected

A vigorous cold front will move through the region Thursday night. A line of storms is expected to develop west of the area, just ahead of the cold front, and head east.

A line of showers and storms will move through the Ohio Valley ahead of strong cold front tonight. While the severe threat with these storms is diminishing, a few strong storms will still be possible as powerful low and mid level winds will overspread the area.

Overall, most places can expect between 0.75" and 1.5" of rainfall through the event.

Frost Advisory Early Saturday Morning For Western Counties

The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for early Wednesday morning, affecting the western parts of the WKU Public Radio listening area.

A strong cold front moved through the Ohio Valley on Thursday, ushering in a colder air mass for the weekend. By early Saturday morning, surface high pressure will be anchored over the middle Mississippi River Valley, allowing for mostly clear skies and nearly calm winds generally west of I-65.
